Kindred Spirits: Ephemera
A story from a song...
A couple of years ago, I was invited by Helen Hollick, the founder of Discovering Diamonds, sadly now closed, but a wonderful book review site, to write a story inspired by a song. I pondered which song to write about (my musical tastes are eclectic, to say the least), then realised I could use the opportunity to have a tiny rant about what I personally consider the most irritating song lyrics ever recorded…
On Saturday night just gone, the DJ played Thin Lizzy’s The Boys Are Back In Town and it reminded me of another Thin Lizzy song, and the story I wrote for the challenge.
